Are there any whom you haven’t been able to impersonate? That said, if I were to have my choice of seeing you impersonate anyone I’d definitely say Carl Sagan. I'm a dweeb--he's one of my biggest heroes. Way too outdated to do anymore, of course. I'd also ask if you could throw in the look on Terrell Owen's face after he misses a pass. Not a voice, but priceless, that. So yeah, any really tough impersonations? One more, way off topic. I read in an interview that you have a brother. Is it safe to assume that you are the younger one? Posted by Nick on Feb 04, 2008 04:45 PM Hey Carlos! Love you work, and Reno is easily one of my favorite shows on TV. My question is, how did you get into voiceover work? I have always been able to throw my voice real well and do voices from a chipmunk (alvin-simon-theadore-ish) to the Monster Truck rallies (SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!) and most recently, and to be blunt about it, I wanna see if I can make some money doing it. So what path did you take...agents, casting calls, whatever. I am not in LA, but San Francisco, and any advice you can give to a wannabe voiceover guy would be much appreciated! Thanks again -Nick |

I remember when we used to work together at Alhambra Athletic Club. You were always so nice and super fun to work with. I think the last time I saw you was when you were living in San Francisco and commuting to Los Angeles to work. We went to dinner with my sister, Gigi. I teach 5th grade now in Sac. at Gold River Discovery Center. My students are all fans of your animated character voices. I missed your show at Sac State and wanted to say hi.
